The whole point of the grappling hook was for traitors to gain an unfair advantage over players, If you honestly believe this was exploiting, then people who grapple up to the top of the towers on the STANDARD rooftops should be considered exploiting too.
every single spot you could possibly reach with a grappling hook is unintended by the map developer
Rocket jumping in tf2 was unintended in hl2, but now its a full on game feature in tf2
The admins say its an exploit because they are the admins, notice how they didnt give any other details other than it was unintended by the map paker

A quote "Pillar of the community" should very well know that community discussion bends the rest of the community in favor of the games ethics and operations, and if some bullshit reasoning stands to a completely justifiable act then it drives people away

Honestly, a community is supposed to argue across points and have them get somewhere with administrators, which act as an unbiased mind, but they are so stubborn and think so firmly that their set of ethics are that good, they ignore it
