Not too much activity by admins on the TTT server. I think adding Ryan to team red would do alot for the community. I highly recommend him.

One more thing I just remembered. I had brought it up a while ago, but I’d like to empower individual admins to handle shorter length ban appeals. The standard response for 1-3 day bans is “this won’t get resolved in time, you may as well sit it out.” Admins are trusted with so much that I believe they should be able to overturn bans that can be invalidated.

I really like your latest comment and it won me over enough to easily +1. In the past we would do unbans within the first 2-3 days and staff apps usually within a week of posting. That was with a team of 2 or 4 depending on which tenure. Not sure what the hold up is, but having an extra active admin should speed that up. I'd say you and Saylor both should go for it and hopefully get 2 good ones out of this. Good luck.

You've been the "adult in the room" since I've joined staff, regardless of your title. That's a clear sign of a natural leader.
This is your natural progression, as I see it. You more than deserve the role and will fit it like a glove.

I did some skimming and i saw ppl saying stuff along the lines of “ 4 admins is to many for TTT”
Now i dont know much about what happens behind the scenes but i do know. I dont think ive ever seen more than 2 admins on at the same time. And even in the past few months ive only seen 1 on at a time. And its usually the same admin every time.
So whats the issue with adding another admin if he will be “active” (assuming the curse doesn’t set in.)

I feel like addressing this, this is mostly due to the fact that we do votes on unbans and promotions. (Thats how Bryan and I did it sort of, how icey and teif and I did it, and how tdawg, teif and I are currently doing it.)

Every admin team in the past voted on those things and did not take as long. The pace has been picking up lately, so good job and keep up the work. Not really trying to diss you all, but I figured an additional active voter would speed the processes up if someone is/was lagging behind. That was just one of my reasons for +1ing him.

I think he would bring a lot to the admin team in terms of listening to people and finding compromise where compromise works but also putting the hammer down when needed without doing so rashly. And even in his current role as moderator he takes leadership quite naturally, on top of bringing server administration experience from the past as well. The only possible reasons against I can think of are nothing that has become a pattern or weren't one-off mistakes.
