Nah just find it interesting how clowns have become so hated now in days especially in the U.S when compared to in latin america where they are still beloved. Seriously though why is everyone afraid of clowns?

Clowns were always creepy, plus the 2017-2018 (i don't remember when) Halloween clown pranks were getting too much media attention. So it didn't help much in curbing any fears

I personally don't understand why clowns are scary either, they are just people in face paint. They have just gotten a bad rap from movies portraying them as evil entities. If you look back in history, the court jester brought joy to kings and queens. Peter Berger said that "It seems plausible that folly and fools meet deeply rooted needs in human society." Also in Native American mythology the Trickster channels the spirit of the Coyote and is a sacred Clown character. The clown has been very positively portrayed in our popular media. Crusty the Clown in The Simpsons, Ronald McDonald and Red Skelton are probably the most well known clowns.

In conclusion, we don't need to fear the clown. They fill a need for laughter and entertainment in our lives.
