Respectfully requesting a ban appeal. - The Angel of Death - 09-26-2024 Ingame Name: The Angel of Death SteamID: STEAM_0:1:14323451 Who Banned You: tiefling lesbian Reason For Ban: Wall hacks + aimbot Length of Ban: Permanent Reason for Admins to Unban: I fully acknowledge the gross misuse of hacks during my time on the server, which should not have happened in the first place. I take complete responsibility for my actions and have respected the consequences by accepting the permanent ban. However, enough time has passed since the incident, and I have not played Gmod or used any form of hacks in other games. I’ve reflected on my actions and believe this appeal is an appropriate opportunity to request a second chance to rejoin the community with a clean slate. I intend to follow the rules and contribute positively to the server. Have you been banned before (Link relevant threads): No Other: During my time away, I’ve had the opportunity to mature as a player and understand the importance of maintaining fair play within online communities. With the lessons I’ve learned, I believe I can be a positive member of the server. I hope you will consider granting me a second chance. RE: Respectfully requesting a ban appeal. - Brahma - 09-26-2024 While I acknowledge your appeal and the effort put into it, after careful consideration, I have decided not to support lifting the ban. One key factor in my decision is the concern that your appeal seems to rely on AI-generated text, which raises doubts about the sincerity and personal reflection involved. I value genuine, thoughtful communication from players who seek a second chance, and using AI undermines the authenticity of your request. For this reason, I don't believe unbanning you is appropriate at this time. Honestly, I didn’t think using AI to help me organize my thoughts would be a big deal since there’s no rule against it. I was just trying to put together the best possible appeal. But I get it—this is about showing accountability and being genuine. I want to make it clear that I’ve reflected a lot on what I did, and I really do regret my actions. RE: Respectfully requesting a ban appeal. - BIIG_SAD - 09-30-2024 no way you use AI twice and double down on it....... (at least, it kinda sounds like AI.) in all seriousness, no. initial response indicates lack of sincerity. RE: Respectfully requesting a ban appeal. - BGgamez YT - 09-30-2024 nah using ai in a request to be unbanned is crazy -1 RE: Respectfully requesting a ban appeal. - Jammin - 09-30-2024 I'm not convinced it's AI generated, as someone who has written similar stylings before. That being said, hacking should be fairly unforgivable. I've seen a few cases lifted after ~3-4 years, but certainly not enough time has passed. -1 RE: Respectfully requesting a ban appeal. - RussEfarmer - 09-30-2024 (09-30-2024, 02:45 PM)Jammin Wrote: That being said, hacking should be fairly unforgivable. Hot take but I disagree, I'd much rather get wallhacked for a round than hear racial slurs over the mic or see porn links in chat. oh no my round is ruined because I got aimbotted!!!... no different then getting RDMed by a rando imo +1 its been like 9 months RE: Respectfully requesting a ban appeal. - TDawg4 - 09-30-2024 We have decided to deny this appeal at this time. Ban appeals are not supposed to be English assignments and writing a sentence or two saying that you don't hack anymore is not so high of a bar that anyone should need ChatGPT. Feel free to appeal again in a month (10/30/24). I imagine if YOU just write a short genuine appeal it will be accepted. Good luck! |
