Help for Getting Kicked for No Reason (64 bit issue) - TheUltraFish - 02-17-2019
This thread is being made to hopefully help individuals that continually get kicked, or even banned, from the server(s) by cake. This a temporary fix until we get to do something with our anti-cheat so that it stops randomly kicking/banning players.
Some of you who use 64-bit Gmod do not have an issue at all or at first, while others have issues immediately with getting kicked, or banned, for using the updated version of Gmod.
To hopefully fix this issue please do the following.
1. Exit Gmod
2. Right click on Gmod and select Properties
3. When you are in Properties select the BETAS tab
4. Select the scroll down window and pick the NONE - Opt out of all beta programs
5. After doing this, select CLOSE in the bottom right.
6. Try reopening Gmod and rejoining the server.
7. If this does not work try reinstalling Gmod making sure that you are still not using in beta programs previously described.
If this does not work, or you were banned by the anti-cheat for this issue and have done the following, please contact an Administrator for the server you are trying to join. If you have been banned you may have to submit an unban request for the server you are trying to join.

This should probably be moved somewhere in Guides and Information as this pertains to all of our servers.
