How To: Promotion (READ BEFORE POSTING) - matt_st3 (Strongrule) - 07-09-2019 Promotion Here’s our how-to guide on promotions. These are general requirements we look for. We are looking for staff who are active, professional, and friendly. The Committees will be looking for these below points among other things, including attitude, previous bans, or other issues that might bar them from staffing. This is not a format page, just a helpful tool to show what we consider and require of our staff members. We have a high standard that we need to keep consistent. Trusted - entry level staff position. The majority of this job will consist of handling rdm reports and chat spam. - Put effort into their staff application and shows a strong desire to help staff our server/community. - Responses to scenarios - No mildly significant or major behavioral issues as of late - Has consistent activity and engagement in the community for a month - Mild level of engagement outside of the server. (Forums and Discord) - Shows a good understanding of the rules and follows them - Community support - Add any previous experience here too - 100+ hours in server TMod - intermediate level staff position. This rank gains commands to help gameplay related issues, along with previous responsibilities. - Has good knowledge on how to use the RDM manager and commands as trusted - Responses to scenarios. - No mildly significant or major behavioral issues as of late - Very knowledgable understanding of the rules and can be able to handle more intermediate scenarios - Community support detailing the progress made as a staff member - Ban requests are generally made with all necessary information - Consistent community activity for at least 2 months - 200+ hours in server Moderator - High-level staff position. This rank gains access to additional commands, foremost being the ability to ban. This position is responsible for handling ban requests and in-game bans, along with previous responsibilities. The rank is also a senior position. - Has an exceptional knowledge of the rules and guidelines of being a staff member, enough to thoroughly train intermediate staff members. - Responses to scenarios. - No mildly significant or major behavioral issues as of late - Ban requests are consistently made with all necessary information - Can think for themselves, be confident in their decisions, and can objectively handle all situations. - Consistent activity in the community as a staff member and have had Test Mod for a minimum of 2 months. - Has experience handling advanced staffing issues other than gameplay - Strong, detailed community support - 400+ hours in server Admin- Executive-level staff position. This rank gains access to additional commands, foremost being the ability to ip-ban and adjust content within Pointshop 2. This position is responsible for handling staff applications, in-game bans, community bans, donor abuse threads, unban requests, server development along with previous responsibilities. - Has an exceptional knowledge of the rules and guidelines of being a staff member, enough to thoroughly train intermediate staff members. - No mildly significant or major behavioral issues as of late. - Has a vision for continuing to develop the TTT server. - Can think for themselves, be confident in their decisions, and can objectively handle all situations. - Consistent activity in the community as a staff member and have had Moderator for a minimum of 3 months. - Has experience handling advanced staffing issues other than gameplay. - Strong, detailed community support. - 600+ hours in server.
