Honestly didn't have any pet peeves till joining the military.
1. Being called "bud" in a serious conversation. First off, I'm older than you and secondly I'm not your buddy or pal; I'd shoot you for a klondike bar. Like half a klondike bar.
2. People telling me what or how to do MY JOB when I am the Subject Matter Expert (SME). You think that you can do it better, by all means please do and when people die due to your negligence along with lack of knowledge I'll be there with a big old thumbs up for you.
3. People telling me what my goals are or should be. Piss off you wanker, it's my life not yours.
Background on this, I'm a helicopter mechanic specifically for the structure of aircraft. UH-60 Blackhawk and CH-47 Chinook are my specialty with some experience with the AH-64 Apache.
