i raised ostriches and i loved them. also have had some experience with emu. both are cool.

i always say to get a mini donkey on a farm. good watch animals and companion.

What's it like raising ratites like ostriches and emus?

its not too bad. give them lots of space to run, high fence, and dont let them think they can take you. (bc if they think that can beat ya they will) stand your ground and dont get kicked. 

(if you get them as babies its better, they imprint and recognize your face and body)
