What is the Strike System:
The strike system is designed as a way for admins to keep track of issues caused by TTT staff members whether on the server, forums, or discord brought to the attention of admins by other staff or members of the community.
How the Strike System Works:
Failure to adhere to the duties and expectations of your staffing position can and will result in termination, penalties, non-eligibility for promotion, etc. Depending on the offense, termination may be immediate. However, in most cases termination is based on a strike system. Verbal warnings may also be issued with no strikes. Any Staff who receives 3 strikes will be terminated/demoted from their staffing position. Strikes are CUMULATIVE AND DO NOT EXPIRE. Each situation will be handled on a case by case basis with the admins having discretion on what will receive warnings and strikes. Below is a list of instances that could warrant a strike (please note that not every situation may be spelled out in here but if the Admins deem a situation worthy of a strike then they will be issued and added here for future references):
Minor Offenses:
● Consistent shitposting on forums or discord (forum/discord warning then strike)
● Going afk for significant time periods and/or continuous afking (verbal warning then strike)
● Misleading new players (verbal warning then strike)
● Misuse of powers (verbal warning and strike)
● Mic / chat spam and use of foul language deemed inappropriate per server rules and guidelines (verbal warning then strike)
Moderate Offenses:
● Minor issues that continue after warning(s)/arguing the issues (strike)
● Indirect/direct use of racism (verbal warning then strike)
● Receiving a legitimate ban (warning and strike)
● Actively trolling or flaming situations instead of solving them as a staff member (warning and strike)
● Detrimental abuse of powers not demote worthy but is significant to warrant a moderate level of being reprimanded (warning and strike)
Major Offenses:
● Moderate issues that continue after warning(s)/strike points and/or arguing about the issues (strike and demotion if 3 strikes are met)
● Directed racism and/or harassment towards specific staff or players (warning and strike, if severe temp ban or punishment as necessary)
● Refusal to staff/neglect of duty. This does not include inactivity or AFKing on
server; this clause is for staff members who actively try to break rules or refuse to act as a staff member (warning and strike)
● Serious abuse of power such as mass kicking or banning or other abuse that is
considered to be severe (immediate termination and possible ban)
