For me, I find it a lot easier to see when I hit the floor while crouching. Standing and bunnyhopping is nearly a guessing game to see when you're actually going to hop up again.

you dont have to buy a mouse with an unlockable scrollwheel and cap frames to bhop decently, i used to spacebar bhop and it was fine


crouch hopping iirc makes strafing worse and therefore limits your velocity gain without using the jump pack, stand hopping doesn't.

there's no real difference between the two on here because everyone uses the jump pack

Imo either way is virtually the same, you don’t have a set decrease in strafing while crouching so you’re still bhopping and getting the same vel, you’ll just go slower if you miss a hop while crouching. If I were to go find another FPS for crouch bhopping I would get same results as my stand up one.
