So where does it say in the rules anything about posting links in chat. I couldn't find it tbh. Like are all types of links bad to post in chat, even youtube links? I asked this because I noticed someone got awarned for posting a youtube link in chat yesterday I think. Course the youtube link might of had something bad in it idk. I forgot to check the link, but yeah are all types of links bad to post in chat or what kind of links would be fine or does it just depend on what the link is to?

I had a bit of a read as well and there's really no rule saying anything against links in chat for TTT but I am pretty sure its a universal rule in to not post links. It falls under 'No Advertising' for the other servers. Because they could potentially be harmful, inappropriate, or just someone trying to get clout.

Yeah I get that part but what if it’s a just a simple YouTube link to some music or a funny video or something. I get the no advertising part but then again you can also queue songs in ttt with the name of the title and artist so wouldn’t that be considered advertising kinda if we went that route? I don’t think it would be but idk I could be wrong

because you don't know if it's good, bad or funny until after you click the link. Staff are also probably on a bit of edge at the moment since earlier this week a person with a few accounts was spamming a child porn image link in the chat. Problem was taken care of quickly, person reported multiple times on different things, and community banned. Probably falls under the no advertising rule because like I said, you don't know if it's advertising until after you click the mysterious link.

Thank you all for answering.

I think this refers to the situation yesterday in TTT while playing on Simple.
I issued an AWarn to another player for posting a link to an image in dead chat. While to my knowledge it didn't get pushed to the TTT relay, had it done so it would have appeared as an embedded image. The image wasn't directly porn, but was suggestive and NSFW. Hence, I awarned the player for posting links.
Illegal links were posted earlier in other chats, as Fish mentioned. I helped delete some of the links from various relays. As such, I was a bit on edge myself.
I also muted a player who immediately posted a link to a random youtube video (which was just a song) since they posted it 2.2 seconds after I warned said player for no links. However, the second player was almost immediately unmuted with no warns issued.
TL,dr I warned w player for a nsfw link, not for a YouTube video.

Since he has made a reappearance, I think the staff team will be on edge until it is clear he no longer wants to be a problem.

Note that sharing links is more of a risk since the Discord Bot catches the contents of the chat and Discord will try to show a preview thumbnail. As per Discord rules, the whole place is SFW, so the contents must follow that rule at least.
I find funny how after issuing a warning for sharing links the second player immediately shares another link as if they were encouraged.
