So, I don't dip too much into staff/personal relations in the community but looking at everything here I have my own opinions, take them with a grain of salt, but this is going from when I was once high staff on a few incarnations of the same community's main server. I also don't know everything, so perspectives could change if I was directly involved in such discussions. Anyways, here's an essay on some recent incidents from how I see them.

RussEFarmer was not the most mature for his higher staff position and it showed. Mind you, he did good things too (I think some of the lower staff he brought on to PH are cool from what I've seen on forums), but his general demeanor on the forums and playing TTT were far from exemplary. I'll admit to being a shitposter and doing immature things on the server, but sometimes I feel Russ blurred the lines between serious business and joking around. Which brings me to this conclusion- was his behavior worthy of a demotion? Absolutely. However, I'm personally not on board with a permanent ban. A few weeks to a month? Maybe. A "suspension" of sorts might have done him good, given him time to cool off and improve himself without having to deal with being the only Admin rank on PH. Best of luck in your future endeavors, Russ.

As for the Bantz crew? This most recent incident with the abuse report completely warranted a ban, I think. It's one thing to have an opinion. I'm totally neutral on whether the bottom of Airship should be an exploit. And according to upper staff it is. Mari was enforcing that mandate by upper staff. That thread was not "opinions" and was far from it. That thread was ganging up and quite frankly harassing a staff member doing her job to enforce something that has been decided on by upper staff. You think it shouldn't be an exploit? Great, make a thread about it/try to get a community poll going instead of accusing a lower staff member of abuse and arguing/ganging up on her for enforcing the rules as they stand.

Clearly, both of these incidents show there's a problem. I think this problem is that as a community we have a major problem with discussing controversial topics civilly and getting civil feedback for said things. And the fault lies across the board, not just in staff or non-staff community members. I think staff, particularly on the higher end, needs to do a better job at listening to ideas pitched to the rest of the community and giving civil feedback on whether it's an idea worth discussing further with the community. This goes for things on the server and parts of the rules themselves. As for lower community members, a lot of discussion on topics, particularly the rules, stems from an issue on the server such as an abuse report. Most of the time these happen the one making the report is more often than not very salty, and the entire discussion on the topic starts out with anger and malice towards the staff member when there's a legitimate gray area to address in the rules. This leads to hostility across the board and an unfriendly environment to discuss the deeper issue at hand. So, say you think you're wronged by a potential gray area in the rules. It might be worth placing something in suggestions/support instead of getting angry at that staff member.

Tl;dr This community needs more civility across the board.

Hello, and welcome to my goodbye. After over 1000 hours on dinklebergs prophunt, under 100 hours on TTT and a couple of hours on DR, it seems that questioning staff judgement has led to my exile. For one, i'd just like to commend the great community that existed around the time I was trusted and user. Everyone was non biased, no drives other than justice, being staff didnt involve back end shit, just dealing with the game and people. Its quite unfortunate that it's not the same now, now community discussion is unadvised, community questions improperly answered, and before the user can object, the question is closed. Is that really how you sustain a community?

Bitching aside, you had something going, and it got thrown away, by what exactly im not entirely sure. It is very sad either way, because I actually greatly enjoyed the server and had a great time being involved in the development of the server. Banning Starky was not serious, it was just a hate lash because I knew I was being thrown away like trash with an opinion.

I do, however, have a pastebin that, well you can deduct the contents yourself. However, I have one final request to the admins of this community. Look at this link with an unbiased mind, and take its contents and look at their integrity. Silencing the most unbiased facts that I have ever voluntarily created because of a biased mind will be unfortunate, and honestly lower my hopes of humanity in general. I know you have the understanding to look at this for its content and informative value, and honestly, if you dont, the people will hate you even more than they do now, and you wouldnt want that would you?

Russ, ive been wanting to say this for so long, you were a terrible admin, you were immature, attacked your co owner every chance you got, made it clear you didnt like your own community because its too much "like a daycare", you troll on the forums, you unlock threads for the fun of it, you once turned your entire community against him, from what i hear youre not the nicest towards your players, youre not forgiving, you scare members of the community away for heavens sakes. Admins are supposed to be the pillars of the community, you were nothing of the sort. You were a terrible admin. You say you were helping prophunt by being admin but i think otherwise, i think you were destroying it more than it already was being destroyed. You were not the savior of prophunt that you thought you were. I can't say I'm happy you got banned, but I understand why starky did it, i still have that conversation of that time you tried spreading false rumors to me about starky, and I can also say I am happy you got demoted. You were not a hero, you were a villian.

Also your immaturity is showing more every time you comment on this thread, which is only proving to people just how much you deserved a demotion.

These reasons alone are why starkys a way better staff than you were

I'm going to address this post as a member of this community as well as from my experience as an upper staff for another server.  I've seen how a person's actions can do both good and harm for a server.  I've been in both yours and Starky's shoes at one point and it's a big responsibility.  As an upper staff, you are looked upon by the players of the community as a leader that can handle the role responsibly.  And to be honest, I did not see that from you.  You would act immature and rash, which ultimately led to your demotion and ban.

Complaining and bashing the staff/server will never get you anywhere either.  I can't count the number of times you have called the prop hunt server stupid while you were on the ttt server or complained about the staff.  As a staff for a server, how you act both on and off the server directly reflects on the server itself.  To me, your behavior on the ttt server and forums reflect on the prop hunt server.  And acting immature gives the prop hunt server a bad reputation.  You continue to bash the Co-Owner, but your actions (or lack of action) has impacted the prop hunt server as well.

I can't say I'm surprised to see you leave but don't leave thinking what happened was unjust.  Take responsibility for your actions and behaviors and use this as a learning experience and grow from it.

First I want to say it's unfortunate that it escalated to this point. But because of it 5 members of the community are now banned. But problems started way before that. Obviously you had problems with starky. But how you put them across is where it was inappropriate. You should've talked to dinkleberg if you truly were having a problem. But you didn't and bad mouthed him to everyone.

Next immaturity. The whole unlocking threads and posting to them was ridiculous to say the least. The shitposting was funny until you were relentless about it.

Then finally the day. When the whole BANTZ crew was just about finished in the shout box and the dust was about to settle, you put gas onto it and started a huge shitstorm in the shout box. They all are now banned along with you because that was the straw that broke the camels back.

On a personal note I like you. I think you're a great kid but you just need to mature a bit. I think in a year or so you'll grow up a bit and see these points. It's a shame of all that went on, but such is life and you gotta learn from these mistakes.

I took that approach because in the end he's still trying to play hero and is still bashing on starky, plus I've been wanting to say this for literal months... And I think the community deserves to know exactly what he did to earn where he is now. I was addressing everything hes done, so dont even try to say my argument wasnt necessary. also i think it's ok to voice your opinions on him on this thread admiral, so other people know just how popular he was with the community, so how about instead of telling people they cant have an opinion and if they do and its negative its not helping, you make one yourself c:, I dont see how youre adding anything to the conversation by only attacking other peoples points, same with you stale.
