What can you do to help the community: 
Activity is my forte. I tend to be as present as one can reasonably be, putting nearly as much time into the server as I put into my job (for better or worse). While I'm not completely unique in that regard, I think consistency is very valuable in upholding any kind of administrative structure, TTT servers included, and that's something I can certainly provide. 

Additionally, I have a wealth of experience with the TTT game mode, administration in general (both inside and outside of Garry's Mod), and managing people - all of those skills I anticipate being useful to me as a staff member here. Despite my new entry into staffing on Dinks, I think I will be able to provide valuable insight and advice in certain scenarios to not only normal players, but newer staff members as well. 

Why you want to help the community: 
I feel like I owe it to the community that's graciously brought me in over the last several months. I have had almost exclusively positive interactions with community members since joining, and I want to participate in helping take some of the load off of the shoulders of the current staff team. That way, when others become community members, they have a very positive experience like mine.

During my time here, I have been relatively vocal about not wanting a staff role on this server and, while I joked about the underlying reasons, there was certainly some truth to my hesitation. I understand how much of a drag it can be to have to administrate a server rather than just playing on it, but I also understand that it becomes easier when the people you're administrating with are pleasant/friendly/likeable people. Fortunately, it seems like the current staffing group who I've gotten to know over these last several months fit that criteria well.

Truth be told, for the last month or so, I've been trying to convince myself (moreso than others) that I didn't want to be involved in staffing. Just considering that it's an additional responsibility on top of my already relatively busy life, I thought it would be best to not get too tied down to the server in case I want to (or need to) step away for a while. At this point, I don't feel any urge to leave the community or to stop playing on the server, so that concern has largely diminished.

Staffing TTT servers has historically been something that I enjoy doing, and I guess at this point, the urge to jump back into it was a little bit too strong for me to ignore :)
