Would have been nice to know when we all had a whole discussion on it earlier today.

This was all in public chat in the staff discord available to you, it's not his or anyone elses fault you didnt read it when it happened a month or 2 ago. and like others have said admin is not an applied to position mainly because unlike the rest of staff there are only a certain amount of active admins at any given time because the main difference between admins and mods is that they vote on shit that matters like bans and such. so you dont want 8 admins, and also you want an odd number of them so there are no tie votes. who gets admin wont be decided on a app like this, but when a spot opens up and chosen by dink based on who he thinks is best.

Like I said I get it Dink can choose who would be good for admin but from what I just read from the TTT staff fulfillment page is I myself CAN still apply

-All staff members and non-staff alike are welcome to apply for promotionstill following all other guidelines for staff apps. We need about 3 new trusteds, 2 new tmods, 3 new mods, and 1-2 new admins

-Anyone applying for promotion MUST be maintaining 10 hours of activity every 2 weeks on the server at a minimum. The more active you are, the better.

So im not sure how many admins we have atm but all i know is the only somewhat "Active" admin we have for TTT is Matt.

and even he said to me that he will not be able to be on as much because of school or something.

So having basically no active admins on I think would be a Problem.

So whats the harm in having 1 more VERY active admin

Though we dealt with all the apps in that Time period and the "staff fulfillment" as a whole is over, I still don't recommend you for admin. It's all up to dink in the end, but I agree with Christian. You've only been mod for only a month And there is a bigger difference between mod to admin. Than even trusted to mod. You need a lot of experience. Admins is a rank of trust. Something that you are given by the owner because he trust's you with it.

Epic recently resigned, so I do not know what dink is planning on doing about that still, but overall, I don't feel that you are qualified for this position atm. -1.
I know this was just repeating what most people have said, but it's just my opinion overall.

Given the information on this thread alone and how things escalated almost as if an argument, I do not believe you are ready to be an Admin.

I realize that Admin isn't particularly one you apply for, I applaud your resolve to get feedback from your peers on becoming Admin. However, take the criticism or analysis of your character and grow. Anything truly worth having takes time. Therefore, if you truly desire to be an Admin you will stick through this and become one when ready.

Best of luck on your journey, and may the destination be enjoyable

Honestly Ace, I have zero against you. I think you're a swell Moderator and think you'd do fine as an Admin. You're a cool headed person and know what you're doing. Going off what other people are saying, it does take a great deal to be an Admin. Me personally having ran three separate Half-Life 2 SeriousRP communities, I know full well how hard it is to be an Admin. And everyone is correct, the two ranks have a very wide gap between responsibilities. There's a lot more stress to deal with, you have to deal with a lot more of heavy decisions that ultimately could result in people being unhappy with decisions you make. You deal a lot with server decisions, forum decisions like applications etc. Think of your Moderator duties but doubled. Now, I'm not saying that you couldn't handle them at all, but what I am saying is that it's all a trust factor.

Now, on the other hand, I recently applied for Moderator when I came back from a year long absence. I was told to get my activity back up before I can apply which is 30 days. In the time from my application to now, I've been on the server pretty much everyday. I rarely see you on, if not once or twice a week. Now, I'm on in the mornings and do not know if you're on in the evenings because I generally working in the evenings but from what I can infer, you don't spend a whole lot of time on the server. Again, I could be wrong. However, and this is what I've been saying from the get-go, we have a lot of inactive staff. All across the board. From Trusted to Admin. And a lot of people, including myself would like to see a refresh of the staff roster. Though from what I am told, if that were to happen, a lot of people would stop playing on the TTT server because said person(s) got there ranked remove when they don't even play on the server to begin with. Which doesn't make sense to me. We also have Moderators who will only come on to ban someone then just leave and that's the only time you'd see them. But my long exhausted point is, we need active staff. Plain and simple. If you're not active enough, you don't deserve the rank. We need active staff like bee's need pollen to make honey. Get your activity up, be known to the rest of the playerbase and gain that experience so that Dink can trust you with Admin. Good luck bud.

Sincerely, Renzo.

I'm mostly on in the evenings and stay up till early in the morning so i can see why u don't see me on.

My Activity Is Excellent and I would like to think im well known on the server but its not up to me.

I never cause any trouble for anyone.

I saw the TTT fulfillment page and thought it applied to everyone so I applied.

Since I technically can't apply Ill just keep my same rank till something happens down the line.

My whole thing about this is, if I didn't truly think I could handle this position I wouldn't fight so hard for it. (then again it's not really my decision.)

I did this on my 1st Mod application and when I actually got, I like to think of myself as a pretty good Mod atm. (based off of other peoples opinions)

I'm not gonna reply to anyone's post anymore on this thread and ill let this whole process finish up.

Ty everyone for there feedback and ill try and get better at being mod I guess.
