Prince Nicky's Fifth Anniversary

Prince Nicky, who many of you know as your favorite player and staff member, is celebrating his fifth year playing at Dink's.

In addition to being your favorite player and staff member, he is also the best staff member and player. How was this determined? By virtue of being the longest tenured player and staff member on the server, serving continuously in one server or another from April 2014 to the present time.

He has played on all the servers of the community, even some that no longer exist like DarkRP (briefly served as a Trusted), 1PS (he didn't start here luckily), and a couple unofficial Minecraft servers.

The Prince has seen numerous people come and go over the years, both making and losing friends in the process. Co-owners, admins, and normal players alike, none outlast him.

Over his time here, Prince has undergone a lot of life changes. From starting in his sophomore year of high school to graduating from college in a few months, these servers have remained a fixture in his life. In addition, Prince believes himself to have changed as a person through this time as well. When he first joined the server, he would find some amount of fun in teasing other players, RDMing on other servers, and engaging in general asshole-like behavior. From attempting to rig an admin election, to declining an admin position. From being a jerk to players, to being an ardent defender of the children and females of the server.

Some things will, of course, remain constant with the Prince. False KOSes as a traitor, talking too much, and singing will never end.

Prince would also like to remark on some of the positive changes he's seen on the server. In the first couple years of his time here, the upper staff (Admins+) was a mess. Abusive players would be held accountable to no one and trying to get anything done would be a futile effort. Complain as you might now, but he has seen tremendous improvement in this regard.

Prince would like to thank all the players, both past and present, who have made his time here at Dink's fun and always interesting.

Here's to another five years.
