How to fix errors on new (or any) maps.


Step 1: install css content, this can be done by installing the game Counter Strike Source, alternatively you can follow this tutorial( https://www.dinklebergsgmod.com/site/Thr...-and-guide ) if you do not already own the game.

Step 2: Subscribe to Dinkleberg's prophunt addons found here ( https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f...=825645045 ). Make sure ALL addons have a blue and white check mark next to them and not a green +.

step 2.5: subscribe to all newly added maps.

Step 3: subscribe to Wolvin's Prop Hunt: "ENHANCED Version 15 Revision I" found here ( https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f...=417565863 ) and Wolvin's Prop Hunt: Enhanced Addons (https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/file...=354485050) again making sure that each addon has a blue and white check mark and not a green +.

Step 4: If you still have errors after installing and subscribing to all the above, verify game file integrity. To do this open Steam and go to your game library, right click on garry's mod and chose properties> Local Files> Verify integrity of game file.

Just a note: Not everything on this list may be required to have a error free experience, this is just how my game is setup and the only errors I get are errors with the map itself. For example ph_office_V2_pww3 and ph_academy20 will often show purple missing textures regardless of addons and downloads. For most people just installing CSS content will fix 99% of purple textures and "ERROR" tags, for everything else updating the prop hunt enhanced version and subscribing to the enhanced addons seems to fix most peoples issues. 

If you are having issues with taunts not working you can use this link to try to fix them (https://www.dinklebergsgmod.com/site/Thr...unts--6963 ), keep in mind however that there are certain situations where taunts will never work. An example of this would be if your prop is too close to a ceiling. Crouching while taunting will sometimes, but not always make the taunt audible to you. A few taunts on the list just dont work at all.

Another note is it could be the world reflections and to remove those go into console using the tilde (~) and type mat_specular 0. You will lag for a moment upon doing that and then your game will return back to normal. It might help on those maps with some of the missing textures.

Oh Sember, I have a link that got my textures fixed and its for Mac and PC which is in this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Nnz38ap_fA which has a link to the textures. This one maybe simple for players, who are sometimes lazy to follow all those steps, since its just download a zip file, opening the file, then applying it to gmod addons and test it. The only downside is well.....the ads which can be skipped on top of the page to get that zip file.
