I am not a part of the Discord server so I'm not putting in a vote here, however - I do not think it's ridiculous to expect others to respect each other's boundaries (including the ones that you may personally consider minimal) while chatting together inside of a moderated community, even if it is the internet.
Also bringing up small concerns without evidence is fine, but preferential treatment has been a rather big accusation while discussing the moderation of this community and bringing it up without any proof to showcase it while saying that you can't be bothered to look for what you've brought up doesn't come across as being done in good faith and feels like a rather moot point as to whether or not Slash should be promoted.
