Maybe I'll add a rule like that in whenever I become Owner.(01-08-2025, 02:08 AM)Rox5tar01 Wrote: I can completely understand wanting to take a break from Trusted duties, but at the same time I'd rather have an inactive staff member (and then they can comeback when they are ready.
There is nothing that annoys me more than the fact that inactive staff don’t get demoted. Imagine a mod being gone for a year and then coming back to their same rank uninterrupted.
Now if Damien had gone inactive rather than resign, I wouldn’t have opposed it given the timeframe of things and the fact that he stayed relatively active within the community.
That being said, I’m neutral. Damien was better when he was in a wheelchair.
Why? I don't get this sentiment. Like...if they are good staff while they are staffing, why does it actually matter if someone resigns when they think they don't want to be staff anymore, rhen change their mind? The only drawback is you uave to spend another 2 minutes writing a comment about how you feel about them staffing every so often. And no one has ever been able to explain their issue with it in a way that's more than "I'd just rather them go inactive"
