I think he would bring a lot to the admin team in terms of listening to people and finding compromise where compromise works but also putting the hammer down when needed without doing so rashly. And even in his current role as moderator he takes leadership quite naturally, on top of bringing server administration experience from the past as well. The only possible reasons against I can think of are nothing that has become a pattern or weren't one-off mistakes.
