hi. yeah, it's me again. 

This is also a hello from the TTT Dev Team, checking in with everyone now that it's been about a week since the release of the 8/10 August Update. 

While we've already observed a great deal of insanely helpful feedback, both for this update and for the future (including changing out some problematic maps for more requested ones and, of course, the knife), we are literally always looking for more feedback/criticisms. We're unfortunately not infallible, and some stuff can fall through the cracks despite testing, i.e. 8/10 update AK47, especially since we usually only test with up to 8 people at a time, which is why public feedback is the most useful to us; therefore, I found it fitting to make this thread to see what feedback people have, both from the most recent update, and what they'd like to see in the future. 

So please, feel free to leave whatever (legitimate) feedback and/or suggestions you might have. This can include what you enjoyed or disliked about the August Update, or what you'd like to see in a future update, ranging from weapon changes, playermodels, traitor/detective weapons, regular weapons, and maps. Questions are also, of course, more than welcome. Myself, and potentially others, will try to listen/respond to as many good points as we can. 

We already have a lot of stuff we plan to look at, as far as all of the aforementioned items go, but direct suggestions from the players always help us make the content we prepare more polished, and fun for everyone. While it may feel like we don't listen sometimes, we do try, and of course can always stand to improve; just note preparing and testing content takes time.

ive heard from several people that the mp9 is still ridiculously strong, idk

other than that i hate the doomguy and daedric chode models

Basically try to find some kind of new movement speed t/d weapon to fill the void of the grapple hook. Doesn’t even have to be exactly similar to it. Could just be something like a teleport weapon or something.

bring back the grapple hook, remove or fix jump pack*, remove daedric model

You guys kinda removed the grappling hook because of the problem with the jump pack. You can't keep going around the glaring problem by fixing everything else besides the root of the issue. There is such thing as over-pruning.

*look towards what we did in the past with the jump pack, configure values. I have been not using a jump pack for a little over a year now and I traverse all the maps fine, anyone who says 'Oh no fall damage' they're using that excuse as a crutch to keep crouch-jumping into the ceiling using broken models and a shitty hitreg. --- sorry for that blanket statement, I know you're not all like that but damn it's obnoxious.

p.s. check Anakin Skywalker side hitboxes on his head, kinda fucky sometimes.

List of things unintended things you can do with the jump pack:
-Crouchspam in the ceiling of short maps
-Makes bhopping hella easier which leads to more of the problem above
-Allows you to get to restricted areas on multiple different maps, pc world, casino, etc.
-Makes surfing almost as bad as the old grapple hook exploit ( i love surfing with the jump pack tho, hella fun but so was ghook)
-break your hitbox by timing your crouches correctly
-gives players that have been on the server longer an unfair advantage compared to new players

I don't know shit about balancing but the dualies are so trash. Some kind of buff would be nice since it's a legendary weapons :/

For the people complaining about the jetpack, It is a staple to dinks TTT I don't see any reason to remove it however if it really is an issue we can always add a cooldown to the jetpack instead of it being unlimited. Also we need to stop turning dinks TTT into a competitive server not everyone here is a sweaty gamer for christ sake.

Changes I would like to see

- Grapple hook returned in some fashion
- Reduce D freeze gun to 1 shot or lower the freeze time
- A new skin crate or for every skin we remove we replace with a new one
- Add silenced sniper/m24/Bullshite and other items to the premium points shop
- Fix defib not working sometimes
- Crates lottery ( I get alot of useless major weapons crates which I end up deleting, it would be cool to put them in a roulette at a chance to get another crate)
- Make 3 top players rewards all equal
- Full ammo with starting spawn weapons
- Remove the 4 limits per square on the inventory or make it higher
- Saved loadouts (It would be nice to have a sniper loadout I can switch to when playing rooftops or a shotgun loadout when on terrortrain)

the last barrier for this server is maps. need to keep curating the map pool, there are some really awful maps still on there and some great ones that haven't made it on.

suggestions:

- reduce map count in map votes from 10->8
- remove the following maps: amsterville, cloverfield, wintermansion, minecraft_mythic, vault, devoz, desperados 2
- add the following maps: port, skyscraper, mccity, nipperhouse

There aren't a whole lot of values we can really modify however I am reviewing the possibility of modifying the jump pack's code to make it to where it retains it's fall damage reduction but lowers jump power. Currently, those values come hand-in-hand but I am looking into options of how possible it would be to split them up.
