Closing thread time

Ok so I was a witness to this fiasco tonight and wanted to speak something however the thread was closed can I just make a reccomendation to atleast wait 24 hrs before closing threads so people may actually comment. I wrote a full fledged log only to be told this thread has closed. This is something I feel should be common courtesy. I wanted to speak my point of view as someone who was there. Simply put I am asking not demanding staff give adequate time to allow responses from the community to ensure a more appropriate understanding of the situation.
