I know full well you are more than capable of doing this position; however, not to be an echo chamber, but I have similar concerns that Jammin does.
If you really want to do this, then I know you'll do a good job. I just advise that you take a step back when you start getting frustrated instead of getting overly invested. I just don't want to see you apply, get this position and then resign in 2 months due to being "jaded at the community again."
+1. Having you as staff will make it easier for you to coordinate events for sure, and I think it'll help improve activity in the discord if you're able to do it more routinely.
