I can completely understand wanting to take a break from Trusted duties, but at the same time I'd rather have an inactive staff member (and then they can comeback when they are ready. Burnout is a real problem and if you aren't enjoying the game then what's the point of playing said game) than a repeat cycle of applying for trusted to resign again IMO. Still though, Damien knows the rules and is pretty levelheaded. +1 for Trusted, never gonna +1 a Damien Trusted app again. Either stay trusted or don't be trusted at all.

There is nothing that annoys me more than the fact that inactive staff don’t get demoted. Imagine a mod being gone for a year and then coming back to their same rank uninterrupted.
Now if Damien had gone inactive rather than resign, I wouldn’t have opposed it given the timeframe of things and the fact that he stayed relatively active within the community.
That being said, I’m neutral. Damien was better when he was in a wheelchair.

I'd ideally like to see some guidelines about staff inactivity in the going future (there might be some but to my knowledge there aren't) to maybe have a way to remedy this back and forth, but for now I go off of what's there. Maybe I'll add a rule like that in whenever I become Owner.

Why? I don't get this sentiment. Like...if they are good staff while they are staffing, why does it actually matter if someone resigns when they think they don't want to be staff anymore, rhen change their mind? The only drawback is you uave to spend another 2 minutes writing a comment about how you feel about them staffing every so often. And no one has ever been able to explain their issue with it in a way that's more than "I'd just rather them go inactive"

hard pass -1
consistently terrible decision making, lacks critical thinking skills, and is easily influenced. 15 staff apps point toward this being attention seeking behavior.

How the fuck does someone have 15 staff apps in the span of 5 years?
I'd like to know how many of the staff apps actually went through, what percentage of your TTT time you spent as staff, why did you quit and how this time would be different?
Also I'm pretty sure this app is a joke with all the other "clerb" apps so -1 till someone changes my mind.

I am a fairly controversial figure in the community, I'm not gonna sit here and tell you that all of my denied apps were denied because of bias and I'll own up to being a shithead in my past and making decisions that got me denied.
I was accepted for staff positions 7 times out of 15, I was accepted for trusted 3 times and on my third time being trusted I got all of the way up to mod. It'd be hard to guess how much time I've spent as staff but I'd give a very rough guess of about... 1/5 of my time? It's hard to guess with how many names I've had and not having an actual tracker for staff time. (I'm guessing off of play time not how many years I've spent with the server btw)
My app and all other apps up currently are serious and I hope are treated as such.

From the outside looking in it looks like I have literally no idea what I'm doing but trust me, I know what I want to do. I wouldn't have applied if I didn't want to take up the mantle again and staff for the server.

+0, havent played TTT in a while mabye ill hop on some day .-. I cant personally attest to the granular of Damien's ability to staff. I do remember that he knows the rules, and knows how to apply them.
pros: he wants to be staff. also TTT trusted isnt that hard. he also has previous staffing experience
cons: 15 apps, 5 years... and lots of resignations.
personally, I would recommend you not staff, based on the history of you almost immediately resigning many of your previous staff positions.
but if its something you are set on, then shoot for the moon.
Incepimus, Nunc et semper.
This means that "we begin, now and forever", and translates as "always we begin again"
What this actually means is that we should always strive to better ourselves, because tomorrow is a new day.
I hope you take it to heart. Remember, an improvement, no matter how small, is improvement.
