Why go into the semantics when the problem is the "mpgh" portion?
Just google it and it gives you the .net in search. You saying because you didn't give the .net part it was stupid when really you should've if anything made something up because mpgh is a real thing.

+1 I know i don't have much say as i'm only a member but Aeth0r has helped new members like me get into the game and get cool items to keep us hooked. He helped me when i first join how to use certain T weapons because he was always a T. While he does seem pretty fishy he makes some goofs that are dead giveaways of his skill and with helping players and investing money into the server he seems like a stand-up guy. He also advertised a website that doesn't work as he didn't input the URL right probably due to because that was not his intention of advertising and distributing hacks. He is an awesome help and great player but just made one bad joke so what more can i say from that?

I 100% agree with this or maybe like a day ban at most. He is a well known and invested player so was a perma necessary?

Agreed, although not a likable person mpgh is the #1 hacking site accessible to the public and its like saying "pornhub.net." What he was referring to was not okay for him to do, but if you look up gmod hacks its one of the first links to come up. most are insta vac'd. Im not defending him, im just saying that i dont think his intent was to actually spread hacks.

Honestly I see both sides of this, both being he shouldn't have advertised a legit hacking forum (whether it being the wrong domain or not is irrelevant) and that this was all a joke.
I mean, look at LMAOBOX and how it's became a literal meme in the TF community over the years. Spite it actually being a real cheating software. I'm not saying what he did was a meme like LMAOBOX, but it was clearly a joke.

I feel like this is is something that can be of a learning lesson, maybe give em a reduce and call it day.

I really dont think what you did deserved to be banned.  HOWEVER, you put yourself in this situation by not knowing the rules.  Even if you were joking around with babies, which yall do a lot, you have to know to NOT advertise hack sites or in this case "Fake Hack Sites".  This should have only been a warning and nothing else.

It's common sense really. Pretty much any community out there would ban you for adverting hacks.

Thought I recalled the name, was off another Perm Ban before, had to double check the steam ID. Believe you were unbanned at the time soon after though.
