Myself, for example, I collect skulls and taxidermy, serial killer memorabilia and obscure metal vinyl.

That's really neat!! We have a super cool antique shop where I'm from and they have a huge space in the basement that's full of amazing old light fixtures - they're really beautiful!

ooo, we have something similar around here - an old blue jean factory in the center of a small mill town turned into a two story antique shop ran by an old couple. The thing is the size of a warehouse on the inside.. but nobody really knows it's there, anyone I ask has never been to it

Books. 
A few of my favorites are a pocket New Testament from 1897 along with 2 other books from 1915 and 1945. I have over 150 physical books in my collection and have read all of them except for maybe 5. 

Books a great ^_^ Not only do they tell a story but they are their own story too.

Oh man if it's collections your into I'm your gal. I collect books, lego, Pop Figures, basically anything Marvel related, movie/concert tickets and psychology textbooks.

I absolutely love the idea of collecting serial killer memorabilia. That's fascinating.

I used to collect coins, until they were stolen....ugh.
I collect some knick knacks here and there...I have some 25 year old coke cans, one's unopened....a WWII era magazine which literally cost me $5, and just off the cuff random things, partly because I intend on using some of em for sculptures.
