Firstly i'll take this opportunity to take back my +0 from last app. I've realize that the 1-month minimum is all that is necessary for proper experience levels. I should have granted a +1.

That being said, I guess I don't see the staff issues that you see - while you are more experienced in staffing then i am, I am still curious what your method of staff accountability would look like.
From what i've seen of your staffing so far, I can give this a +1. I'm curious to see how other mods will receive that call-out, however.
I think it mostly starts with pre-education. Most of the time, as most staff can attest to, we become staff and don't really talk to each other a whole lot outside of the few server issues that happen as they are happening, and people are just let go to interpret things as they see, and just not communicate a whole lot with all of the other members. I know at least one of the other Dink servers has weekly-ish staff meetings, even if there aren't major pressing issues, and I think that would be a great idea for TTT. New peeps can ask questions, older peeps can chime in on things that happened during the week and see how things are being handled and we might even think up different ways to handle things in that setting. And once people are more or less on the same page definitively, we'll be able to 1. see more clearly who is being inconsistent with things that come up and how, and 2. teach people who aren't doing things to correctly to own up to them without drama. I think that'd make every staff member completely accountable for themselves, and each other, and help the staff team be strong in general.

And I think any mods will know  I feel this way, but I think  some of it needs to be said more outwardly, I think some level of transparency is just fair to the regulars here.

Under normal circumstances, I would be concerned about the speed at which Rand is rising through the ranks. But Rand is also a much more unique staff member than most - highly capable, very active, and intelligent.

As you stated, we may have different staffing techniques - but that's not a bad thing. It means we can play off each other's strengths and weaknesses as if we were recreating a good cop/bad cop routine.

Rand has offered a litany of different ideas that can help with various staffing issues and this especially sets him apart in my opinion. It's one thing to be able to just administer the rules and maintain the status quo, but it's another thing to be ready and willing to offer ideas for meaningful change.

I think Rand would make for a welcome addition to the moderator team. We definitely need some more active moderators and I'd be happy to have Rand on the team with me.

Rand has been a very active staff member who also follows both the rules/staff guidelines regardless of whether he is friends with a rule-breaker. Overall I've seen Rand act as an unbiased but fair punisher which I think is a good quality for staff to have. Additionally, Rand is highly communicative talking in both discord text/voice channels and in-game channels. I bring this up because I feel he is a staff member capable of relaying current issues in-game for the rest of the staff team so they are able to be kept up-to-date. Though most of these qualities are becoming of a testmod, I feel it is important to highlight that I feel Rand is capable of banning people who break rules regardless of their role in the TTT community (hence equal treatment of regulars/masters/members/guests alike) and that is important for moderators. Since I feel Rand is capable of completing bans and handling any flack he may get for banning individuals I feel he is ready to be a mod now regardless of the relatively short time he's been staffing.

Rand,

I am so flattered that you take inspiration from me for the kind of staff you want to be <3.

I think you do a great job as a staff member. You are passionate and you truly seek for everyone to have a good time on the server. You are well-liked and make good judgment calls. The only thing that concerns me is how fast you are trying to climb to mod. You have been staff for a total of 2 months at this point which is extremely fast to move to the mod position. I'm not gonna say that you aren't capable of doing the duties as a mod, but it's just very fast.

Final Vote: +0

I love you homie and wish you the best of luck.

I really enjoy playing with you rand and I think you are really great staff. As Bryan said you have been staff for two months, and personally id like to see you stay tmod for another month. Burn out is a thing... and while id never tell anyone they are going to burn out if they are promoted or something, it is something to account for when promoting staff. <3 -1 love u anyways.
I have no genuine regrets. You lot can go fuck yourselves, I'm done being treated like a piece of shit in your servers. Every day I'm on it's 1rdm after the other and then I'm called every slur and name in the fucking book. Tell the others to go fucking die in a fire cause I am fucking over it. And when I try to do something about it, I'm the "staff abuser". nah go fuck yourselves

Okay so, I have to disagree on not wanting someone promoted on the basis of how quickly they're rising through ranks, or on the /potential/ for burnout. Because people handle burnout separately, and when I'm burned out on the game, I throw myself into forums and disc, and vice versa, and it has only ever lasted a week. So I think that's a mute point. And both Laced and Noire hit it in the minimum time as well, being just over two months, so that's also just a mute point. If it's based on perceived ability, that's one thing, but just from going fast is silly, it's a requirement that you have to have a month of the previous rank for a reason, silly geese

What more does Rand have to prove by staying TMod another month? He's already shown that he knows the rules to a T, he can handle just about anything the server throws at him while staying calm and collected, and he even moderates the discord now. There's no reason for him not to be promoted, tbh.

I am going to +1 this as I have seen nothing but good from Rand over the time I have spent on the server with him. Personally I am someone who is wholeheartedly apposed to setting artificial time barriers on a person. Promotion should solely be based on the potential of the candidate, and what the candidate has previously demonstrated. If Rand has shown he is competent enough to be a mod, then there is no reason to hold him back.
