When Ash and Sea Burns were demoted, we thought this would send a clear message: staff who engage in shitty behavior will not be staff for too long. When Ritsuneru was banned we thought this would send a clear message: harassment of players is unacceptable, especially when it’s staff doing so. Some people did not understand how serious this message was.

For this reason, Ted has been demoted completely out of staff.

After the harassment campaign Rits launched, we said that this wasn’t going to be tolerated at all. One of the reasons Ted left as an Admin was because he contributed to this harassment by encouraging her behavior and creating photoshops. As it turns out, Ted continued to do so in a private Discord amongst people including Ritsuneru. This is behavior unbecoming of staff and amounts to continued harassment.

Lycan has also been demoted out of staff.

While it was clearly stated yesterday, there’s been an unwritten rule for a long time now that staff should not be sharing anything from Staff Chat with non-staff members or anyone not connected with the server. Lycan disregarded that unwritten rule and shared staff chat conversations with Ritsuneru. He was also warned after questionable behavior during the harassment campaign previously and this continuance has lead to the demotion. 


Let’s make one thing clear here: 
Staff are supposed to be pillars of the community. They represent the best of us and personify the values we seek on this server. If staff fails to live up to these higher standards, they will no longer be staff.
